Interested In Fostering An Animal?
Being a foster parent to an animal in need can be a rewarding experience. Fostering an animal for There's No Place Like Home means that you are welcoming an animal into your home to live temporarily with you. The more foster homes that we have, the more animals we have room to rescue. While the animal is staying with you, we simply ask that you keep him/her safe and happy as well as follow some basic guidelines. Animals in foster care need love and socialization until they are adopted. We ask that foster homes guarantee no less than 2 weeks to the animal needing care, so that he/she does not become increasingly stressed by having to be relocated to various homes. There's No Place Like Home will remain responsible for the animal's health needs. We do not ask our fosters to take on any responsibility other than providing the animal with a home, basic needs, and a daily routine until he/she can be adopted
Why Is Fostering Important For Us & The Animals?
Because we do not have facilities to house all of our animals, foster homes are necessary to allow us to continue rescuing creatures in need. The more foster homes we have, the more animals we can rescue at any given time. As a foster parent, you are helping to save a life and preparing the animal for adoption.
The Benefits For You..
Fostering can be a great way to enjoy the company of an animal without the long term commitment. It can also help those considering adopting an animal decide which kind of pet/personality fits them best. Perhaps the best thing about fostering an animal is the fulfillment you get from watching them grow & change and finally...adopted!
How It Works...

We will contact you shortly after reviewing your application to discus which animal might benefit the most from the environment you can provide. If you're interested in fostering a particular animal, please let us know that when you send in your application.
You will commit to a minimum of 2 weeks to that animal during which time we will be in close contact with you. We may coordinate your foster animal attending veterinary visits or adoption events with you during this time.
